Halloween at Lavelle

Lavelle School for the Blind hosted three Halloween parties, one for each program. The gym was set up in a spooktacular way with decorations and plenty of treats. The gym was decorated with boo-tiful decorations. Students were provided with punch and a plethora of horrific Halloween snacks. Students enjoyed a Halloween playlist by our in-house D.J.’s, Mr. Ricky and Mr. Dave. The O.T. and P.T. department facilitated three student competitions. One was the scariest Halloween scream, the second was toilet tissue mummy, and the third was the freeze dance contest. Students and staff enjoyed dancing on the Halloween conga line. The theme was Superhero Costumes. Debbie Esposito and the ADL program were responsible for catering the event.
