areas. We are fortunate to have 3 large outdoor
playgrounds since the school occupies an entire
city block in the Northeast Bronx. Commuting

Classroom teachers with New
York State Education Department certification
as teacher of the blind and visually impaired
(full time and substitutes). Teacher applicants
for the preschool program also need N-6 certification.
Teaching assistants and teachers’ aides
with bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred
Physical and occupational therapists and
assistants
Orientation and mobility specialists
Job coaches
Social workers
Nurse substitutes
Speech and language therapists with bilingual
Spanish/English extension preferred
Adaptive physical education teachers
